I am told the reptile was abt 3 feet long. 
And sadly , I am also told that the reptile was sentenced to death for entering a students room :-( :'-( why cant humans make peace with other living forms,at least to the extent possible, monitors are traded as pets elsewhere in the world :-( :-(
