Chivalry Vs Stupidity!!!

|

Now I believe there is a very thin line between Chivalry and Stupidity. I cant seem to understand gals who take pride in "sponsorship" from stupid/gullible/idiotic wateva men folk to go to parties, restaurants, disco, buy gifts etc.

So you call a gal on a date she agrees, now since you called her perhaps you are morally obliged to pay for her. But when this going around becomes a mutual decision then i strongly believe it must be "Dutch".

Ok agreed that its ok to spend a bit on friends but then someone you have met 2-3 times or for that matter even 20-30 times isnt necessarily a friend right. Also why should one spend 1K-2K hard earned money on some unknown gal when the same money can feed 10 orphans or poor families.

Basically what i am saying is there is a thin line between chivalry and stupidity. Being nice to women doesnt mean you pay for them even when you know they earn twice as much as you - come on what happened to equality of women and all that. And its stupid to spend a lot on a gal even when you see the relationship heading no where just cos u want to spend, its vogue, she expects you to and all that. Put that money to good use be a philanthropist. See that word even sound cooler than chivalry. :)

Cheers,

LOL! How about putting it this way - you pay for her the first time, even the second time, until she falls for you. If she does, not to worry my friend, henceforth she will be the one to pay. So until the courtship, better spend :P

and yea, DV's blog link has changed long back.... u didn't notice, did you?
