Ode to Co-Voyagers

Guess I have never been outta blogging for this long was really busy with work, the news is I am moving to a new team(ofcourse within my company) in the hope of acheiving something substantial.

And hey after a long long time I wrote a poem to bid farewell to my team mates you dont know them so might not be be able to really appreciate it but go with the flow and let me know what you feel.

250 days of twists and bends,
And here is where the voyage ends.
Experience so flattering to be substantial,
Its with a pinch that I know its real.

Surprising how with a blink of an eye time flies by,
All that is left is memories of me and thy,
Co-voyagers all along and I dint notice them,
Now so suddenly I know I will really miss them.

A sweet lady who taught me dedication,
No amount of jabbering destroyed her concentration.
Tell me from all this I dont have to shy,
And even if I do the memories never will dry.

A man who works round the clock,
Steering the ship and making the voyage rock.
Tell me from all this I dont have to shy,
And even if I do the memories never will dry.

A lady who to me patiently heared,
Even when she will run away I feared.
Tell me from all this I dont have to shy,
And even if I do the memories never will dry.

A man who always put up a good smile,
Another who everyday introduced a new style,
Tell me from all this I dont have to shy,
And even if I do the memories never will dry.

A new voyager who along set sails,
Against the winds his fight never fails,
Tell me from all this I dont have to shy,
And even if I do the memories never will dry.

The captain who enlightened us about our scope,
Whom I shall always remember for his telescope.
Tell me from all this I dont have to shy,
And even if I do the memories never will dry.

And finally the lighthouse robust and never stopping,
Strenghtening,reassuring and ever helpfully guiding.
But alas I have to detour,
Oh! For once I am so dour.

May be the best I can do is wish u a happy voyage,
Forgive me for anything I might have done in a rage.
If you have a treat remember I am no sage,
Whenever you need me just page.

Thanks for all the help folks, you made my time in this team,

cheers,
Badrinath.V.S :-)

Do these roads go any forward ???

Even in darkness when you walk the roads of the jungle,
Trip over the stones and hit over the boulders,
If you know there are others and you aren't single,
You can keep moving ahead resting on friendly shoulders.

But when you know that you are all alone,
And for you to trip over there is more than a single stone,
When you feel like someone is watching all your moves,
Tell me how one can happily walk these grooves.

These roads aren't like others where you measure the distance,
Neither do the scenery and beauty around make any sense,
You just wanna get out of them and meet light,
Take a fresh breath and feel things are right.

They say think its good and it will be,
Ok will take their advice and we will see,
But when you just can't make any mistakes,
For you to win what are the stakes.

Now I know things are never going to be the same again,
Nothing can wash all this stain,
There is no walking back on these roads,
Bad memories that have to be carried ahead are loads and loads.

Oh my dear god, I guess you are crazy,
You are so much in a Badri troubling frenzy,
All I asked was for a little bit mercy,
But you aren't making things any easy.

Do these roads go any forward?
aww everything around looks so awkward.
But i guess i will take few steps ahead to see if things get right,
Of light, happiness and glory if I can catch sight.

cheers,

It doesn't get any better than Google!!!

The latest Google thriller is here. Check it out http://maps.google.com.

These guys are just amazing try out this "Winxp Users California".

You can also figure out how to get to a place using the "From Here" and "To Here" directions.

Wondering if they will ever extend the MAPS and add India....

Two steps to get a 250 MB Hotmail account

Disclaimer : - I dont see a need for this but anyways I did like to mention it to safeguard my as*. I aint responsible for any loss of account and or mail that you may suffer while trying out the steps mentioned.

I tried OPTION 1 and saw my hotmail account growing in size from a trivial 2MB to a decent 25 MB. The choice is yours to make, don't sue me if things go wrong Rolling Eyes.

And to make it 250 MB , you will be receiving a mail from Hotmail Staff , where they quote:

You may notice that your storage meter for your e-mail inbox only says 25 MB instead of 250 MB. Please allow us at least 30 days for us to bump up your storage to the complete 250 MB.**** It is important to check your inbox regularly during this time.

OPTION 1

Login to your account
Go to Option
Click My Profile
Change Country to United States
Wait for browser to Load US Settings
Change state to Florida and Zip Code to 33332
Click Update
Click Continue

Go to Language and Make sure it is English
Paste this link in Same Browser :
http://by17fd.bay17.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/AccountClose

Wait until the screen says Your Hotmail account is
closed and ready to be deleted. Click Close Account.

Go Back to Login and relogin to ur Account
Just reactivate ur account.
No email will be deleted from ur account and now ur
Account size limit is increased to 25MB.

OPTION 2
You can wait till Hotmail does it for you anyway , in the longrun Wink.

Khakhee --- A review

This is the second movie I saw this year. The first one being Arjun's Giri. Giri was quite OK worth watching once, to summarize TP(Time Pass). But the movie doesn't deserve a review by an expert like me so lets get into details of Khakhee.

I dunno when this movie got released but i got to see it only 5 days back. The movie has a good star cast - Amitabh Bachchan, JayaPradha, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Tushar Kapoor, Prakash Raj(You read that right the famous tamil villian) and the queen of a million hearts(but not mine) Aishwarya Rai.

The movie starts in a quite common(although not cliche) style Amitabh is a sincere police officer who is about to retire but hasn't earned any big laurels for himself. He doesn't get promotions in time cos he is sincere blah blah blah.

Akshay on the other hand is corrupt police officer who enjoys life. Now I will not go into the details of the story. I will just review things from a 5000 feet height.

Khakhee - from 5000 feet

Story - OK, infact quite good but yup the good wins over the bad that is how it has to end right.

Screenplay - full of interesting twists and turns. Except for the one in which they reveal that Prakash Raj is also a villian. Now thats quite obvious.

Camera, Direction- Good, been quite sometime since i saw this good a hindi movie.

Songs - Not good , but you can listen to them.

Acting- This is the most interesting part. Big B everyone knows is good aat acting nothing much to speak of it here except ofcourse his expressions are getting very monotonous. Akshay has acted well. Ajay Devgans acting is the best. Really good I liked it and tushar has acted well too. Prakash Raj anyways is one of the best villians out there today but then this being his first movie in hindi not much role for him. Aish - sorry but i dint see her acting.2.5 points on a scale of 5. Yup she smooches well in the movie.

Dialogues- If you know hindi you will enjoy them. At some places it is really cool.

Summary - The movie is definitely worth watching with a lot of good twists and turns and the actors doing justice to their role.
