Naan Kudikaran Alla - I am not a drunkard!!!

|

Although I have tasted alcohol in small quantities (very small quantities) in the past I have never gone to a pub or bar before with the intention of gulping alcohol.

Visited Club8 at Hyderabad Yesterday with 6 other friends and the moment we were seated I decided that I wanted to get knocked out , hung over or hammered or wateva. Thanks to my company (guys whose veins were filled with alcohol instead of blood) I gulped 1 L of Royal Challenge, 0.5 L fosters and 150ml red wine.(Not bad for a first timer right!!! and yes did I mention I drank a 0.5L tinny later at home). Here are things I got to know/learn from this experience

i) Beer tastes yuck , how much ever you drink and how much ever you eat on the side.
ii) Good wine is very powerful even if its a so called Ladies Drink.
iii) 2 L of beer and 150 ml of wine , does nothing more than blur the mind a bit, I was still able to calculate how much each of us had to contribute towards the bill, Close my eyes and chant/meditate, think of what i had to do tomorrow etc and oh ya I even found out that I had tipped the waiter Rs.500 instead of the planned Rs.50 and hence called him back and undid the mistake ;-)
iv) Nothing unites people like bad habits, if you smoke, u have a circle around you and drinks bring people even closer.
v) The effect Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu bring on with their sleazy numbers in Race is easily undone by beer (Sure beer kills troubles ;-))
vi) My teeth which is due for a root canal for god knows how long, hurt in spite of all the alcohol, alcohols doesn't really cure all problems.
vii)Alcohol makes me feel weak, reduces my reaction time, makes me blabber a lot and gives me a bad headache in the morning.

One more thing, although not directly in connection with Alcohol.

Why do these idiots at Club8 insist on playing deafening music,(rather noise). We (my pals and me) werent even able to discuss on what to order and 2 out of 3 times the waiters werent able to hear what we were ordering.

In spite of the fact that we were the only customers there and customer is supposed to be the boss , the stupid DJ insisted on not reducing the volume (he was drunk big time).

And hey one more thing i noticed, nothing makes more money than making people feel bitter.
UB makes a bomb selling yucky tasting beer and Ekta makes a bomb making people cry . ;-)

P.S : I am sober now , at least i believe i am
