How hypocritical is this life
Under the clout of being civilized and diplomatic
When talking about ones ugly wife
“You make a fine pair” we remark being sarcastic
Instead of telling his hair his turning gray
We say he shows sign of wisdom and continue the glue
What kind of mockery of the self is this play?
Where to maintain a false dignity we continue to shrink
You child looks just like you we say
When the child is “ok looking” we think
Shouldn’t speaking once mind be the way
Or should we continue to shrink as often as we blink
Am not suggesting to hurt someone being blunt
But help them with your opinion being frank
Don’t make in some ones heart a dent
But nevertheless voice your opinion be frank
